The LG RESU16H Prime solar battery combines advanced lithium ion NMC technology with intelligent battery management for residential and light commercial installations. Engineered with dual battery modules and a dedicated control unit, this solar battery enables professional installers to optimize placement in tight spaces.
Unlike single-enclosure competitors, this split design distributes 351 pounds across three manageable components for easier handling during installation. Each 16kWh module delivers 7kW continuous power with 11kW peak surge capability, maintaining critical loads during grid outages. Installation flexibility extends to climate extremes. Natural convection cooling eliminates mechanical fans, removing a common failure point while enabling silent operation in living spaces.
Operating within a 350-450V DC range, the RESU16H Prime solar battery integrates with high-voltage string inverters. The onboard DC-DC converter achieves over 90% round-trip efficiency, minimizing conversion losses during charge-discharge cycles.
