Future Essentials Dehydrated Mirepoix Mix (also known as Soffritto) is a combination of chopped dried carrots, celery, and onions. When re-hydrated with water, this mix of vegetables will maintain the texture and shape of fresh celery, carrot, and onion, with no shrinking or shriveling. This mixture can also be added to soups or stews without rehydration!
This Future Essentials Dehydrated Mirepoix Mix is an amazing addition to your food storage. Some great dishes to include it in would be stocks, sauces, soups, rice, omelets, and other foods. Once sauteed, this mix can be added to any savory foods.
Freeze Dried and Dehydrated products are less expensive than wet pack food because you are not paying for all the water. The taste is great, the nutritional food value is excellent.
