How the Insulation Works
The Culla Maxx is an inner tent: it pitches inside a tent you already own and turns it into an insulated one. Its walls carry a thick layer of CruaBreathe insulation, which does three jobs at once. It slows heat moving through the walls, so the inside stays warmer on cold nights and cooler in daytime heat. It dampens outside noise. And it blocks most of the light, so a sunrise or a lit campsite does not wake you at 5 a.m. The trade-off is that this is not a waterproof shelter, which is why it goes inside another tent rather than out in the open.

It pitches inside a tent you already own, or inside a Crua modular tent, and turns that outer tent into an insulated, darker, quieter one. In dry conditions it can also be used on its own indoors, in a car, van, caravan or under an awning.
The inner floor is 6.7 by 6.2 ft and the height is 3.61 ft, so your outer tent needs at least that much clear floor space and headroom. It is designed to fit most 3-person dome tents and Crua's own modular systems. Measure the usable floor of your tent, not its listed capacity, since two tents rated for the same number of people can have very different internal space.
The walls carry a 450 g/m² layer of CruaBreathe insulation that slows heat loss, so the inside holds warmth on cold nights and stays cooler in daytime heat, while also dampening noise and blocking most light. It is not waterproof, which is why it belongs inside an outer tent or under a tarp whenever rain is possible.
