Not everything that comes across our radar makes it into the catalog. When we evaluate new survival and emergency preparedness gear for the store, we look at a consistent set of criteria before anything goes live.
- Real-world performance over spec sheet claims: A product that performs well in controlled conditions but fails under field stress does not belong in a preparedness store. We look for independent reviews, brand track records, and materials that back up the stated performance.
- Genuine utility: New products need to solve a problem or fill a gap that is not already well covered in the catalog. We are not interested in adding redundant options for the sake of inventory volume.
- Brand reliability: We prefer to stock established brands with a history of standing behind their products. New brands need to demonstrate quality before they earn shelf space here.
- Value at price: Emergency preparedness gear should be accessible. We look for products where the price is justified by what the product delivers, not by packaging or marketing.

- Off-grid sanitation: Waterless incinerating toilets from Cinderella and similar brands address a real gap in long-term off-grid and grid-down preparedness setups. Standard emergency sanitation planning often stops at portable chemical toilets. Incineration toilets provide a more complete solution for extended scenarios.
